a rise in stay home mothers

Summary:
The number of mothers who do not work has increased 6% in 13 years time. The category of 'stay home mother' includes not only mothers who stay at home to take care of their families, but also those who cannot find jobs or are disabled. 85% of the stay home mothers said that they are not employed because they care for their families. Some of them follows the chinese tradition stating that women should stay at home and do house chores.
 Opinion:
In my opinion, mothers should work so as to help their husband in terms of money and stress. They can leave their children to their grandparents. Singapore needs more people working as economy is getting worse. They can contribute to the economy to make it better.
