Summary: Earth is very polluted. In any ecosystem, there could be many forms of contamination. Examples are trash blowing away from landfills and city skies covered in smog. Pollution may muddy landscapes, poison soils and waterways, or kill
plants and animals. Humans are also regularly harmed by pollution.
Long-term exposure to air pollution, for example, can lead to chronic
respiratory disease, lung cancer and other diseases. More than one billion people lack access to clean water and 2.4 billion
don’t have adequate sanitation, putting them at risk of contracting
deadly diseases.
Opinion: As pollution is very harmful to nearly everything, I feel that everybody on Earth should do their part in keeping Earth healthy. If everybody does their part in helping the environment, less people will be suffering and everyone will be healthier and happier.
