Japan's Elderly Go on a Petty Crime Spree

Summary: Recently, the elderly in Japan has been committing crime. An example is Fumio Kageyama, 67 robbed a drunken passenger unsuccessfully and was jailed. Most elderly these days steal cheap things, such as food. Reasons they steal is that they are hungry, or they just feel lonely.
The amount of elderly committing crime has doubled in the past decade.

Opinion: I think the children of the elderly should spend more time and take care of their parents more. Without their love, they might go astray and might commit crime. They should also give their parents some money every month so that they will not go hungry.
