Next generation of social media 'exposing girls to sexual abuse' By KaiYi

Summary: There is a new breed of social media websites which leaves young people open to cyber bullying. These social media websites let users be completely anonymous and allow them to ask questions to other users. This resulted in people being bombarded with sexually explicit messages and demands. The anonymity provided by the sites has made them a hotbed for sexual pressure, bullying and abuse. A girl who has been cyberbullied for a long time was even diagnosed with anorexia and depression, took an overdose and spent 11 weeks in a mental health unit.

Opinion: I think cyber bullying should be stopped immediately. It has very harmful effects and may lead to someone's suicide. I suggest that the anonymity is removed from these websites and action will be taken against the cyber bullies.
