Concern over Singapore's 'instant noodle' generation

Summary:

Parents and Government officials in Singapore are concern over Singapore's teenagers. These teenagers grow up with a silver spoon in their mouths. They do not need to go through hardships. Most of them are very dependent on their maids on house chores such as tidying up their own room, washing their clothes and clearing up their food after they have eaten. However, the teenagers are also very pressurized by school's expectation. When they excel in their studies, their parents will reward them and they end up being pampered.

Opinion:

Teenagers in Singapore should learn to be independent. They should not rely on their parents and maid. When children face problems, they would just seek help from their parents without actually solving the problems by themselves. Parents should also let their child help out with the house chores.
