Radioactive Pollution

Summary:
Radioactive pollution is formed when radioactive waste is being dumbed in both human and physical environments. The main contributers of radioactive waste are nuclear power plants and research stations. Radioactive waste can contaminate the air, soil and water. It can also cause cancer among humans. Three main types of radiation from radioactive wastes are alpha radiation, beta radiation and gamma radiation.

Opinion:
In my opinion, we can use other ways to generate electricity, like geothermal energy, to minimise the amount of nuclear waste created. Radioactive waste should be burried deep in the ground to reduce contamination. They should not be dumped in water sources. I also believe that radioactive wastes are serious threats to the environment.
