Is Singapore's soil fertile for creativity?
Summary:
Productivity in singapore is focusing on the key component that will boost organisational performances which is innovation. While companies shows the importance of innovation, the truth is, many companies have been putting up barriers to prevent innovation. This causes Asian companies to face in adopting an innovation. Singapore emphasises on meritocracy and strict adherence to promote based on merit translates into a workforce that, while it performs to the best of their abilities, will not take on unnecessary risks.
Opinion:
I think that Singaporeans should learn to accept and adapt into new things. Singapore can also start inventing things. The barrier that is put up is preventing us from doing those things. We should be brave enough to overcome those barriers and try out new things.
