Summary:
Racial Harmony means that
everybody can live smoothly together, no matter what race or religion
they are. On 21 July each year,
schools in Singapore commemorate Racial Harmony Day (RHD) to mark the
anniversary of the 1964 racial riots. On this day, students will reflect on and
celebrate Singapore as a harmonious society built on a rich diversity of
cultures. Since its inception in 1998, RHD has helped to promote inter-racial
understanding among our students and is an important part of our national
education.
Opinion:
In my opinion, having
racial harmony is very important. It teaches us to respect the other race and religion.
We will also learn how to appreciate other race and religion’s culture. In this
way, we will learn to live with each
other without hate and disagreements. We will also learn to live
