Summary:
Some youths are sceptical over the government plans to introduce racial harmony to all polytechnics and universities while other people say that parents and students in secondary school should be involved. There are plans to expand it to universities. Under the programme, volunteers and students who are selected as ambassadors will attend sessions where participants discuss biased and works towards understanding other culture. Some students agree to this while some disagree.
Opinion:
In my opinion, parents should start a good example for their younger children as it will be instilled in them. They can be a good role model so that their children can learn from the as we learn from what our parents do and teach. They will then treat racial harmony as a very important event in their lives. Racial harmony has a great importance for everyone as it allows us to have peace in our country.
