Summary:
Only a small portion of the world's plants species is managed. The government needs to take actions to protect the genetic resources, which are worth a lot of value, otherwise, they will be lost forever. The Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), had came up with an action plan to improve the management of genetic resources, by enabling plants to adapt to environmental changes.
Opinion:
In my opinion, I feel that we must protect the plants' genetic resources, or else they may be extinct in the future. The plants provides food and resources for us to support our daily life. Therefore, I firmly believe that the government should have a better management over the plants species in the world.
